The exploration of social media in today’s world. Social media are facing with rapidly increasing phenomena of far-right and populist politics, which is quickly gathering support among our European democracies, driven in part by their strength and influence in online spaces. On the other hand, the absolutely phenomenal degree of social inequality that we see in our countries is making people increasingly dissatisfied with the political and institutional system, something that also constitutes fertile ground for populists on social media.
