Overview
SALTO Participation and Information Resource Centre (SALTO PI) is looking for 3–6 sectorial experts/contributors to map, select and draft the content of the P² Dossiers, a set of practical publications on applying the horizontal priority “Participation in Democratic Life, Common Values and Civic Engagement” in Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.
One dossier will be produced for each of six sectors: Higher Education, School Education, Vocational Education and Training, Adult Education, Youth, and Sport. Each expert/contributor will cover one or two sectors. The dossiers bring together dispersed research, tools, networks and expertise into a consolidated, sector-specific overview that National Agencies, stakeholders and beneficiaries can put to direct use.
What?
Each dossier is not a report but a pair of independent, ready-to-use files:
- Briefing File: 3–5 one-pagers on key concepts or questions, and the content (data, sources, key messages and a designer brief) for 1–3 infographics
- Directory File: 3–5 practical tools, methods and frameworks; an overview of 10–20 networks, organisations, initiatives and experts; 3–10 annotated key publications; and, where evidence is insufficient, 1–3 short original commentaries or analyses
The work includes desk research and systematic mapping of the sector (including SALTO PI’s own resources), a scoping note, a mapping inventory, drafting both files, consultation with 2–5 sector reviewers, and co-hosting two presentations of each dossier within six months of publication. SALTO PI handles proofreading, design, layout and publication.
The workload is estimated at approximately 40–50 working hours per sector. All work is remote and in English.
Fee: EUR 1.250 for one sector, or EUR 2.500 for two sectors (fixed, gross and all-inclusive; not part of the evaluation).
Who?
Individual experts, analysts and practitioners, as well as companies and other legal entities, with no geographical limits. Applicants may apply independently or through a university, research institute, organisation or company, but must name the individual who will personally carry out the work. Applicants must be fluent in English (C1 or above) and available during the kick-off week and throughout the working period.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the selected sector(s), familiarity with Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, and experience in turning research and evidence into clear, practical resources. Links with European or national networks in the sector, and editorial, publishing or infographic experience, count as an advantage.
