“Youth participation in the spotlight” webinar opens the series of 6 online events organised by the Network of SALTO-Youth Resource Centres.
On the 1st of June 2021, SALTO Participation and Information will launch a new resource: a 12-module Youth Participation Toolkit focused on participation practice and three issues of importance for youth participation today: Inclusion and diversity, Digital transformations, and Sustainability.
During the session, youth participation enthusiasts can discover a variety of tools for understanding the situation of young people and their participation needs, so that they can develop their thinking and practice guided by the values of youth participation promoted by the European institutions, through the EU Youth Strategy, in general, and through the Youth Participation Strategy, which will also be presented during the webinar.
The session will include a Q&A with Ajsa Hadzibegovic, co-author of the Toolkit, who will provide examples of how to use the Toolkit in order to create change beyond developing youth’s competencies and supporting their learning.
