Call for youth participation strategy steering group youth representatives

Are you a young person between 18 and 30 years old, experienced in Erasmus+ and/or the European Solidarity Corps programmes and passionate about youth participation in democratic life? Apply to become a youth representative in the Youth Participation Strategy (YPS) Steering Group for the 2026-2027 mandate. 

 

SALTO Participation and Information Resource Centre (SALTO PI) is looking for six youth representatives to be a part of the Youth Participation Strategy Steering Group mandate 2026-2027. Read more about the work of the previous group here.

 

As a member of the Steering Group, you will be supporting the full-term (2021-2027) monitoring and evaluation of how the YPS was implemented, as well as promoting the implementation of meaningful participation in democratic life as one of the priorities in the framework of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes. You will also have the opportunity to advise on the implementation of the YPS and its priority areas and develop initiatives that contribute to the goals. 

 

We are looking for six youth representatives (18-30 years old) who: 

  • have experience with the Erasmus+ and/or European Solidarity Corps programmes; 
  • have experience in youth participation at local, national and/or international level; and 
  • have an interest in strengthening youth participation in the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes 

 

The Steering Group will consist of six youth representatives selected through this open call as well as representatives of key Youth Participation Strategy stakeholders and partners, including the European Commission, National Agencies, SALTO Resource Centres, RAY Network, and European youth umbrella organisations.
