After almost one year of work dedicated to defining Digital Transformation in the European youth sector, SALTO Participation and Information has successfully framed the specific issues and priorities related to this topic.

With the support of the Digital Transformation Advisory Board and other experts in the field, the Participation Resource Pool is ready to be explored and offer new information that can guide the work of youth stakeholders in the area of digital transformation.

SALTO PI’s Digital Transformation Adisory Board

Digital Transformation Advisory Boards' main objectives are to support SALTO PI in developing the approach towards digital transformation in the youth field and in the new EU Youth programmes (where digital transformation is one of the horizontal priorities), as well as to contribute to the creation of the Digital Transformation topic for the Participation Resource Pool.

Dr Alicja Pawluczuk is an ICTD Research Fellow at the United Nations University, and a Strategic Consultant on defining Digital Transformation at SALTO PI. Alicja’s research and community education practice focuses on digital youth work, youth digital inclusion, and gender digital inclusion.

Irina Buzu
Irina Buzu

passionate about information technology, innovation, art and AI, Irina is pursuing her PhD research in international law, with a focus on AI regulation and digital creativity. She is currently a government advisor on AI and a delegate to the CoE Committee on AI on behalf of Moldova. Irina is also an emerging tech expert at Europuls, and as part of her research interests studies the intersection between algorithmic decision-making, ethics and public policy, aiming to understand and explore the functioning of the technology that enables algorithmic decision-making and how such technologies shape our worldview and influence our decisions.

Cezara Panait
Cezara Panait

Cezara Panait is the Head of Digital Policy at the think-tank Europuls – Centre of European Expertise, where she is leading the research and policy activity on emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, automation and digital platforms. She frequently publishes press articles and moderates high-level debates with policy-makers on these topics. Through her activities, she wants to contribute to strengthening an open and transparent debate framework between all actors involved in the decision-making process.
