Open youth participation – A key to good governance in the 21st century

The findings of two projects focused on improving youth participation are presented. The projects also resulted in recommendations and guidelines on youth participation and on the role youth work plays in helping young people acquire competences useful for their engagement in society and in decision-making processes.

The conclusion points to the need for youth work to have a stronger role in the connection between young people and decision-making processes.
