Guidelines on how to use online games in youth work for Human Rights Education is an outcome of the project “YES! GAM-EU : Youth Engagement Strategies and Gamification in the EU”. The aim being that of bringing closer gamification as a concept to youth organisations, youth work and non-formal education.

The Guidelines reflect on how to approach young people by using gamification as a tool. They provide insights into what gamification is and what it is not, how youth work and human rights education could benefit from gamification while maintaining its aim and values.

The document proposes a set of key elements that could be seen as essential components of a gamification model, while also addressing how such tools could be inclusive as well.

“YES! GAM-EU : Youth Engagement Strategies and Gamification in the EU” has been funded under the European Youth Together grant scheme, through the Erasmus+ Programme.
