The Participation and Sustainable Development in Europe website provides a variety of tools to support learning and participation around environmental issues. It originated as an information platform set up in the aftermath of the First Symposium on Environmental Mediation in 2001, and ever since it has been developed and expanded into a central information facility for the issue of participation and sustainable development in Europe.

The website is an initiative of the Austrian Ministry of the Environment; ÖGUT is responsible for its content.
