An annual study that mapps trends in the attitudes, adoption and use of media and technology in Flanders. The findings are based on imec’s annual survey of 2.754 Flemings aged 16 and older. It particularly measures issues such as: the adoption rate of smartphones and tablets and how are they used, popularity of social media platforms as well as others such as crowdfunding, video- streaming or car/bike sharing platforms. Additionally, the survey measures how users asses the increasing digitalisation of society, including perceptions and feelings towards online privacy, impact of “ fake news” or even reflections on self-addiction in using technology.
