Online Workshop: How Can Arts and Technology Contribute to Building Democratic Cultures With Youth?

24 September 2024

This co-design workshop explores educators’ and youth workers’ professional needs in the context of democracy and citizenship education. The session showcases methods and practical knowledge from the Critical ChangeLab project and discusses how these might contribute to professional development outside the classroom settings. The outputs of this workshop will inform the design of the Massive Open Online Course “Participatory Approaches Using Arts and Technology to Co-create Democratic Cultures With Youth” to be produced as part of Critical ChangeLab. This MOOC will be free and open to everyone.

By taking part in this workshop, you will get:

  • an overview of findings and actionable insights from ongoing Horizon Europe projects on education for democracy;
  • examples of inter- and transdisciplinary methods that incorporate the arts, humanities, science and technology in civic education and education for democracy.

The co-design workshop will be online on Thursday 3 October from 13:00 to 14:30 CET. It is free and registration is open until 30 September.
