The European Youth Card Association (EYCA) has launched in November 2021 the report Youth Stand for the Future of Europe.

The report is part of the initiative #StandForSomething, led by EYCA and co-funded by the European Union, in the context of the Conference for the Future of Europe.

Some of its main findings highlight:

  • 8 out of 10 young people believe that the Conference of the Future of Europe should lead to more democratic changes in the EU.

  • 8 out of 10 young people agree that a strict common EU climate law should be introduced for all Member States.

  • 7 out of 10 respondents agree that the EU should introduce a legal framework on the consumption habits of citizens to help the environment.

  • 8 out of 10 young people consider climate change, health and education as important priorities for the future of Europe.
