Zero Waste Trainer training video

Year of production: 2022

Although the focus of the video is Zero Waste training, it outlines the principles of how to help people critically think about the environmental solutions that are marketed to us. This training video is suitable for both educators and trainers who wish to teach critical thinking, and specifically how to help people address their misconceptions around different waste or other environmental solutions.

The video was created with the help of educational psychologists in order to focus on how the brain learns and takes in new information. In this case, this knowledge was harnessed to teach zero waste and to understand other environmental topics better.

In the same handbook, there is a longer chapter on how to help people correct their more deeply held misconceptions, with a focus on waste topics; however, the principles can again be applied to other topics too.
