Data and Politics: influencing elections and political campaigns

Data and Politics is a collection of articles backed by thorough research around personal data usage for influencing elections and political campaigns.

The project aims to shed light on how global businesses use data for political influence, in order to support voters, policy makers, political partners and technology companies to develop informed opinions and decisions about the relationship between personal data and politics in the future. The dedicated website includes case studies of practices in countries such as the Netherlands, Ukraine, UK, Nigeria and several others.

The project is part of a wider initiative of TacticalTech called Our Data Our Selves which covers two other connected topics: Data and Activism and Data and You.
