Reaching young people online (Juha Kiviniemi)

When young people are online, where are they really and what are they up to?

Young people are self-organising in communities often out of reach for traditional youth work. This presentation aims to shed light on how young people interact online and look into pathways to reach them in those online spaces.

  • This presentation is one part of a webinar: Young People & Youth Workers in Online communities which was organised by SALTO Participation and Information Resource Centre (SALTO PI) and is co-funded by the National Agencies from Iceland, Bulgaria, Greece, Estonia, Slovakia, Italy, Lithuania and Poland. The training is part of a TCA (Transnational Cooperation Activities) project “ Media and Information Literacy Training Programme” coordinated by SALTO PI.
