Social media is at the forefront of ‘climate deception’, Harvard report reveals

A study conducted by Harvard University and commissioned by Greenpeace shows the blunt ways major car brands, airlines and fossil fuel companies use social media to greenwash their image. Apart from using nature in their visuals, the report also shows how images of racial and ethnic minorities as well as young and non-binary people are used in greenwashing (this can also be called ‘wokewashing’).
