This page provides information about how to use virtual reality in youth work. It offers youth workers and youth organisations with examples of practice, tips, and activities ideas. The spacelab_kreativ production – a project described on the page – supports young adults and adolescents in entering the job market and helps them to find the right vocational training. Virtual Reality is experiencing a boom and will be a key element in the future in areas like gaming, entertainment, journalism and education. All the more important that young people have access to this medium. Integrating Virtual Reality into media education has the advantage that young people can get to know the diverse application possibilities in a safe and cooperative environment.

The Digital Youth Work Project

The Digital Youth Work Project aims to build capacity to deliver digital youth work at local, national, regional and European levels. It is a transnational Erasmus+ project with seven partners from six different countries across Europe and it is implemented during 2017-2019. The project partners are YouthLink Scotland, Centre for Digital Youth Care (Denmark), Verke – The National Digital Youth Work Centre (Finland), wienXtra MedienZentrum (Austria), JFF – Institut für Medienpädagogik (Germany), National Youth Council of Ireland and Camara Education Limited (Ireland).
