Cover image from handout- Unlock the Power of Priorities
There are 4 transversal priorities in the Erasmus+ programme and the European Solidarity Corps: inclusion & diversity, green transition, digital transformation and participation in democratic life. These practical guidelines help you to address these priorities in your Erasmus+ and ESC project.
But what do the priorities mean concretely?
Explore the full potential of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes. This handout helps you understand how the four transversal priorities can be applied to your project idea, no matter which sector you are working with.
- Inclusion & Diversity,
- Environment and Fight Against Climate Change,
- Digital Transformation,
- Participation in Democratic Life.
Remember! Each project is unique and is based on the specific needs of participants and organisations involved. The way these priorities are implemented will vary from one project to another.
Two European programmes addressing European values
Erasmus+ is the EU programme that supports education, training, youth, and sport in Europe (and beyond) through opportunities for mobility and cooperation. The European Solidarity Corps supports young people to engage in volunteering and solidarity activities that benefit communities.
There is a SALTO Resource Centre for each of these transversal priorities:
- SALTO Inclusion & Diversity – for the youth sector (Belgium-Flanders) – for education and training (Croatia)
- SALTO Green (France)
- SALTO Digital (Finland)
- SALTO Participation (Estonia)
